It’s great to see that restrictions are easing across Queensland at the moment. Unfortunately, during the height of the restrictions, we had to make the difficult decision to cancel our Year 6 into 7 Information Evening last Tuesday. In place of this, we have emailed all registered families with a Junior Secondary Handbook, which also has links to videos on our YouTube page. Additionally, we will be printing quick fact sheets and FAQs for all transitioning students across the local schools. If you have a child transitioning into Year 7, and you’d like to make a time to have an enrolment interview, please don’t hesitate to contact the front office on 49 714 333.
As we are now into the second half of the term, things will be starting to get busy for our students in the area of assessment. Please remember to engage your child in some forward planning for assessment. The assessment calendars are on our website (toolooashs.eq.edu.au à Curriculum à Testing and assessment) so that families can stay on top of the demands that their children are facing.
