Congratulations to our students who have been awarded with Gladstone Port Authority Talent Today, Talent Tomorrow Bursary's for 2021.

The aim of the bursary is help facilitate increased opportunities for youth by recognising and efforts of students and encouraging them to continue with the education. The students were selected via an extensive Criteria including attitude, attendance, academics and culture via a panel of GPC representatives.

Students: Jannali Laing, Elijah Awhang, Christines Hopkins, Corbyn Ghee, Jakaylha Docherty and Ella Hodges.

Preqip
During Term 4, Preqip Students have rounded out the program by visiting Sealink, travelling to Rockhampton to tour CQU Rockhampton, visiting the Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service and a site visit to GCLNG on Curtis Island. Year 10 students celebrated the involvement with the Preqip Program throughout the year at a Graduation Celebration last Thursday evening where their hard work and dedication to the Program. Kyan Dwyer was also selected as the Preqip Ambassador for 2021, where he will be invited back to talk about his experience of the Program to future participants of the program. Well done to all of the students for their involvement of the program.
