Gladstone District Senior Mathematics Team Tournament
Recently Toolooa SHS hosted the annual Gladstone District Senior Mathematics Teams Tournament.
This competition sees a year 11 and a year 12 team from all high schools in the district invited to compete against each other in three rounds of mathematical problem solving.
Toolooa’s teams did exceptionally well with our year 11’s walking away with the year 11 trophy and our year 12 team falling less than one question behind the eventual overall winners Tannum Sands.
Well done to all those students who competed – you represented our school very well.
Our winning year 11 team consisting of Kody Kent-Ford, Jesse Hayden, Alyssa Pease, Elle Hetherington and Aleia Golding.
